Hi Lisa, thanks for stopping by. You deserve that scholarship. I would say that the S3 is a great camera. My husband and I have the S2 and it’s an excellent all-in-one solution… the S3 is an upgrade to that, so you should be very satisfied with it.

amazing photos. I’m in the process of looking for my 1st digi cam. I’m about to stalk your site for a few days to add to my research. I cant afford DSLR, but I’m lookin at the Canon S3 and think it fits most of my needs – Any other reccomendations? I’m just aspiring visual artist.
